The gun is a remmington 700 in 308 win. It has a beautiful laminated wood stock and is excellent shape. It has a bull (#3) barrel. Atop it has a Leupold 6.5-20x Vari X III A.O. scope with flip-up covers.
I've been told it's worth $1250 to $1350 considering the shape it's in. I'm asking $1000 cash. You'll need a valid WSDL or CWP to buy it from me. Feel free to let me know if you don't agree with the price.

What kind of groups does it shoot? Factory or handloads?

How big of tacks do you shoot with that rifle?

I've heard that term "tackdriver" before and later found out I had a smaller definition of tack than the owner did.

That's too funny . That's kinda what I had in mind when I asked about the rifle last night.

In all honesty, I've never put a round through this gun. I bought it at a pawn shop, it is in good shape on the outside, I had a guy at Kesselrings look at the throat with his fiber optic deal and he said it showed no wear. I have shot a different gun very similar to this one and it shot a whole box of cheap remmington ammo through a hole about 5/8 to 3/4 inch. I have been thinking of taking it down to Kenmore to find out for sure what it will do but I haven't got around to it. When I do I will post results.
